After our web hosting company performed an emergency repair on the server where our websites are hosted about 16 hours ago without our prior knowledge, we have so problems with our websites. First, we are not able to connect the FTP server through the SSL/TLS protocol. Secondly, a couple of new PHP scripts fail to run. As a consequence, if you click on the Members button in any video tutorial article, you may see an error code. At this moment, we are not able fix the problem. For members, we apologize for the problem.
===================

Now, we know what’s causing the PHP error. Before the emergency fix, the PHP version was 5.2.0. Since they performed the repair, we’ve been put under version 4.4.7. We will have put us back to PHP 5.2.0. We apologize for your inconveniences.

We are currently performing the 2nd phase of major maintenance. As the task is tedious, it should take 12 to 24 hours to complete. We will then install traffic monitoring software. Then guests will have access to several dozen Flash-based tutorials.

If you are a (donation) member, your traffic may be temporarily disrupted. Please accept our apology in advance.

This weblog will enter the first phase of major maintenance periods in several hours. It will commence at 10:30 AM (London), 5:30 AM (U.S. EST), 2:30 AM (U.S. PST), 7:30 PM (Japan Standard Time), November 5. It should last for several hours. During these hours, we will try withdrawing some articles where video tutorials are posted. Those articles may not be found. Also, you will find a lot of articles with broken links to videos. And your connection may be disrupted while watching a video tutorial. Both members and visitors will be affected. Hopefully, we can finish the job in several hours. We apologize for your inconveniences.

Over the several next days, we will be making major changes involving the main domain plus 2 subdomains. We plan to install new features to monitor web traffic more effectively. Since we have more than 400 videos and close to 1,000 blog articles, such changes will take a lot of hours and perhaps errors. But we will try out best.

It is possible that your traffic will be disrupted while watching a video until we complete these changes. We thank you for your patience and apologize for your inconveniences.
