People are now very much aware that Google-owned Blogger hosts a lot of porn websites. We passed them a list of 25 porn websites hosted there twice the other day. And we keep getting more and more list. So we got tired and decided not to pass a list to Blogger any more. Then, today, a porn spam group passed us a list of 98 porn websites hosted at Blogger. We checked out several of them. Some of those porn websites have already been taken down. But a majority of them are still active. For example, we checked out the one that is highlighted in the list shown to the right. And this porn website is active. affiliate spam

Apple Releasing Pro Application Support

Apple today released Pro Application Support 4.0. This update will not only be used for the users of the latest version of its professional application pack Final Cut Studio 2 but also by the users of older versions of Final Cut Express HD, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soudtrack, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Aperture, Logic Express and Logic Pro. Accoring to the company, this “update improves general user interface reliability for Apple’s professional applications.”

Sobonito Investments was sued by Federal Trade Commission in 2005 for wrongful use of affiliates to advertise its websites with pornographic images. The company settled after sued by FTC. Boise State University Educational Technology Website Exploited for Affiliate Spam

All right. We probably underestimated the number. It’s not just “2 or 3.” Nowadays, 5 or 6 websites of American colleges and universities fall victims to affiliate spam every day. Another victim hit by affiliate spam is the website of Boise State University Educational Technology. Educational Technology has its own subdomain at edtech.boisestate.edu, and at least one of the subdirectories there appears to contain a number of affiliate spam pages. affiliate spam
