TOKYO (MacHouse) – The month of May 2015 just started a few days ago. And I’m happy to announce a new software release, which I submitted to Mac App Store a few hours ago. This new software title is called fileExpire. By the way, it’s a not software upgrade.

You have a file that you want to delete. But you don’t want to do it right now. If you don’t forget to do it, maybe, in a few days? That’s what fileExpire is for. fileExpire lets you put files and folders that you wish to delete on a disposal schedule, not in a few days but right now. Drag and drop a file or a folder onto the top part of to application window to create a disposal schedule for it. The disposal list shows which file is to be deleted when and how much time is remaining. And the remaining time will be updated for each file every second. Moreover, you will get a notification about a file to be disposed of 12 hours, 6 hours or 1 hour before.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – I’ve been mostly upgrading old software titles this month. Now, I’ve run out of applications to upgrade. Ouch… Well… Actually, I’ve submitted a totally brand-new application to Mac App Store about an hour ago. This new software submission is called Grabbo.

What does Grabbo do? Before I answer that question, let me ask you this question, first. Do you ever wish that you could restore the position and the size of an application window? That’d be quite difficult to achieve if the application is sandboxed. And that’s Grabbo’s main feature. Grabbo lets you save the properties of a window you select. And you can apply saved properties to the topmost window owned by the same application. Additionally, you can save a screenshot of the window you select to your disk with or without a shadow around it.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – And again… Here comes another software upgrade. A new software title that I submitted to Mac App Store several hours ago is called Straighten.

Straighten is an upgraded version of an existing software title called goHorizontal and has been developed from a scratch. Straighten lets you correct the overall balance of a picture by rotating it, yet holding on to the same number of pixels. Use two markers in a way such that the line between the end of one marker to the end of the other would be straight.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – Oops, again… Here comes another software upgrade. A new software title that I submitted to Mac App Store half an hour ago is called MakeCheckerboard 2.

MakeCheckerboard 2 is a desktop application that lets you create an image of a 2-color checkerboard. A new feature that has been added to this upgrade lets you also create an image of 2-color stripes. Another change allows the user to fully undo/redo changes in picking a color or setting a value.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – A new software title that I submitted to Mac App Store several hours ago is called WorldTimez Desktop 3. It’s an upgrade to an existing desktop application.

WorldTimez Desktop 3 is the 3rd installment of an application that first started as an iOS project a few years ago. WorldTimez Desktop 3 lets you keep track of the current time in multiple locations around the world at a glance. This upgrade covers 86 cities over 4 pages (v. 3.1.0). Each time field is accompanied by another field, which shows the time difference between the city and Greenwich or home (area under your time zone), whichever you prefer.
