TOKYO (MacHouse) – If I run out of software development ideas, what I usually do is… Hmm… Well… I just get on the Internet and look around till a light bulb turns on. That’s what happened a few days ago. As a result, I submitted a new software title to Mac App Store a few hours ago. This new software release is called Distoria.

Distoria is a desktop application that gives you 5 tools to distort a picture. Click anywhere over the picture to use the selected graphic filter. You can apply the same graphic filter to the picture repeatedly or use a combination of these tools to distort the picture. The application supports the full stack of Undo & Redo changes. TOKYO (MacHouse) – It was a record month last March where I released seven applications. Now, I’ve run out of ideas. Guess what I do when I run out of development ideas. That’s when I upgrade existing ones. What I submitted to Mac App Store about a few hours ago is an upgrade to Pict2Curl. And my latest new software release is called Pict2Curl 2.

Pict2Curl 2 is a desktop application that lets you combine two pictures to create a new one that looks like the top picture is curled in a way such that you can see part of the bottom picture. It’s a major upgrade to an existing software title. Version 2 has been developed from a scratch and utilizes a different Core Image filter.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – This March has turned out to be a quite productive month for me. So far, I have released six applications. Of course, most of them are small ones except attributedCode. Whether you believe it or not, I’m ready to introduce one more application to you today. 7 applications in a month… That’s a new record. This new software release is called PhotoSnap.

TOKYO (MacHouse) – We still have 10 days left this month. So far, I’ve released five applications so far in March, I believe. And I’m ready to introduce another one. It’s a Mac application that I submitted to Mac App Store several hours ago. This new software release is called attributedCode.

attributedCode lets you design an attributed string (NSAttributedString & NSMutableAttributedString) and generate Objective-C code for it at the same time and in real time. It supports two development platforms – OS X and iOS. Depending on which development platform you choose, you will end up with different lines of code. attributedCode supports such styled text attributes as text color, text background color, text alignment, underlining, striking-through, text shadow, kerning (space between letters), paragraph (space between lines), text stroke. It doesn’t just let you generate Objective-C code. It also lets you save current attributed text as an image file. Furthermore, you don’t have to worry about losing progress after quitting the application. You can let the application save text attributes internally. Also, you can save current progress as an application document file so that you can reproduce last progress at any time.   Continue reading →

TOKYO (MacHouse) – I have released four desktop applications so far this month. I have never been so productive since my mother’s death. That’s probably something to do with the weather. February is definitely not my favorite month. Finally, we are under March. And we’ve been enjoying warmer days. Well, I have already submitted my fifth Mac software title to Apple‘s Mac App Store more than 12 hours ago. This new software release is called desKuick.

desKuick is a desktop application that lets you change desktop wallpapers quickly. That’s made possible by its status menu. All you have to do is to explore desKuick’s status menu and select one, and the application will instantly swap desktop wallpapers. Of couse, you could alway change desktop pictures by opening System Preferences. I’ve developed desKuick because I don’t want to open System Preferences each time I have to change desktop pictures.   Continue reading →
